Sports Performance

Built From The
Ground Up.

The qualities that matter most in competition — speed, agility, coordination, strength, reaction ability, movement efficiency, and resilience — developed through a science-based, individualized approach.

The Program

Better Systems.
Better Athletes.

At DC Sports Training, we believe great athletes are built from the ground up. Our Sports Performance Program develops the qualities that matter most in competition — speed, agility, coordination, strength, reaction ability, movement efficiency, and resilience.

Rather than simply making athletes tired, we focus on improving the systems that drive athletic performance. Every session is purposeful, every drill is chosen for a reason, and every program is written for the athlete in front of us.

Where It Starts

Every Athlete Begins
With An Assessment.

Every athlete begins with a comprehensive assessment that examines the foundational systems driving performance. This allows us to identify limitations that may be slowing progress or increasing injury risk — often issues that traditional testing misses entirely.

From there, we build an individualized training plan designed to help each athlete move better, react faster, and perform at a higher level.

What We Evaluate

  • Movement quality
  • Balance
  • Coordination
  • Posture
  • Mobility
  • Athletic skills
What We Build

The Program
Combines

Eight interconnected training systems — each developed in relation to the athlete's assessment and the demands of their sport.

Speed & Acceleration

Linear speed, acceleration mechanics, and sprint efficiency so athletes reach top speed faster and hold it longer.

Agility & Change Of Direction

Deceleration, re-acceleration, and multi-directional movement patterns that transfer directly to game situations.

Strength & Power

Foundational strength and explosive power developed progressively so athletes move with force and control.

Coordination & Athletic Movement

Multi-limb coordination, rhythm, and movement patterns that make complex athletic skills possible.

Balance & Body Control

Postural control, stability, and proprioception — the systems that allow athletes to react and adapt in real time.

Reaction & Decision-Making

Perceptual-cognitive drills that train the brain to read the game, choose faster, and execute under pressure.

Mobility & Movement Restoration

Restoring range of motion and movement quality where limitation is silently capping performance.

Injury Resilience & Recovery

Strategies that build durable athletes — tissue preparation, recovery work, and intelligent load management.

How We Train

The Way The Sport
Is Actually Played.

We train athletes the way sports are actually played — integrating movement, perception, timing, and decision-making rather than isolating skills.

Real performance is not built in straight lines. It is built in the messy, reactive, full-speed moments that decide games. Our sessions reflect that — training the brain and body together, under the same demands the athlete will face on the field.

Who It's For

Built For Athletes
With Something To Prove.

From the first tryout to the highest level of competition, the work changes — and so does the program.

01

Making the team

Athletes preparing for tryouts who need an edge in speed, agility, and readiness.

02

Earning a starting spot

Established athletes looking to separate themselves with next-level performance.

03

Coming back from a setback

Athletes returning from injury who need a safe, science-based path back to full speed.

04

Competing at an elite level

High-level competitors refining the marginal gains that separate good from great.

The Outcome

The Result.

Whether an athlete is trying to make a team, earn a starting position, recover from a setback, or compete at an elite level, our goal remains the same: Build better humans first, better movers second, and better athletes third.

The result is an athlete who is faster, more efficient, more confident, and better prepared for the demands of sport and life.
